Choosing a Veil

Use the formality of the wedding and the decoration on the back of your gown to provide guidelines for length of the illusion (veiling). Many brides combine a blusher (the layer that goes over your face) with a longer one for both formal and semi-formal weddings.

If your gown down not have a train or has detailing at the waist that you want to show off, you may want to use an elbow-length veil. A longer veil is the most popular for formal and semi-formal weddings.

Bird-cage veils have made a come-back recently and are very elegant and sophisticated, and work well in outside weddings.
